ONLY 14 questions the principle of idealization of spaces. Interrogating then the notions of borders and spatial policies, it researches and indicates the ideological process of wanting to leave a space to go towards an elsewhere. This piece puts in image the various stages of actions and thoughts to want to cross a border. It questions the reasons which push and aspire a person to go towards this elsewhere, by insisting on the processes of idealization and the predefined images which result from it, built by the thought, that it is personal, global, or societal.
Five performers on stage confront this process as well as the physical and mental stages it implies. If we perceive the principle of idealization as a simple passage integrating the concept of desire, how can we then love the reality of our new space?
